Pre-order policy

Some Modelano pieces are made in small batches after you order. These are labelled Pre-order on the product photo and product page.

Each pre-order piece shows its estimated making time, for example "est. 2-3 weeks", and sometimes a ship window. This is when we expect to send the piece to you, not the delivery date. Delivery time depends on your courier and location.

If production is delayed, we'll let you know the new estimated date. If a delay is longer than 14 days past the original estimate, you may choose to keep your order or cancel it for a full refund.

Pre-order pieces are paid in full when you order, by BCA transfer, with the same payment time as ready-stock pieces.

Each pre-order batch has a limited number of slots and may have a closing date, both shown on the product page. When the slots are filled or the closing date passes, the pre-order closes.

If your order has both, it ships in 2 parcels: the ready-stock pieces after your payment is confirmed, and the pre-order pieces when they're ready. Both shipping fees are charged at checkout.

Because pre-order pieces are produced for you, pre-orders can't be cancelled once the payment is confirmed, except in the case of a delay described above. If we have to cancel a pre-order on our side, you'll receive a full refund.
